Quien iba a pensar que una simple salida a un museo tendría consecuencias tan funestas, lo que imaginé sería un paseo hermoso con mis hijos, se convirtió en el desenlace de muchos pensamientos turbios. Esa escultura tan imponente, tan sublime ya no se apartaría de mi mente, desde el primer momento que la vi quería desentrañar el misterio que la envolvía.
Donde otros miraban arte yo solo veía lo que se escondía detrás de esa perturbadora escultura.

¿Qué misterio escondía? ¿por qué se me hacía tan irresistible descifrarlo? ¿por qué no me dejaba conciliar el sueño? ¿por qué una y otra vez se me venía esa imagen a la cabeza?
Se convirtió en una obsesión, quería desentrañar lo que llevó al artista a plasmar esa escultura.
Quería resolver ese gran misterio que acechaba mi mente y que muchos críticos de arte obviaban porque según su punto de vista, es arte en su máxima expresión; pero por qué yo solo veia plasmado allí, odio, venganza, tragedia, desolación, muerte.
¿Qué gran misterio se esconde detrás de esa imagen?
Si he de interpretarla, diría que fue elaborada por un hombre sediento de venganza por la traición de su amada, el puño apretando el arma indica la victoria obtenida y la satisfacción por acabar con la vida de la persona que le provocó tanto martirio.
Sin embargo; cuando mis hijos me preguntaron que significaba la escultura, yo les dije apegada a la común etiqueta de los críticos de arte:
no obstante; en mi interior sigue siendo un misterio tal vez lleno de sangre y crueldad.
Who would have thought that a simple visit to a museum would have such dire consequences, what I imagined would be a beautiful walk with my children turned into the unraveling of many dark thoughts, that imposing, sublime sculpture would not leave my mind, from the moment I saw it I wanted to unravel the mystery that surrounded it.
Where others saw art, I only saw what was hidden behind that disturbing sculpture.
What mystery did it hide? Why was it so irresistible for me to decipher it? Why couldn't I sleep? Why did that image keep coming back to me over and over again?
It became an obsession, I wanted to unravel what led the artist to create that sculpture.

I wanted to solve that great mystery that haunted my mind and that many art critics overlooked because from their point of view it is art in its highest expression; but why did I only see hatred, revenge, tragedy, desolation, death portrayed there.
What great mystery lies behind that image?
If I were to interpret it, I would say that it was crafted by a man thirsting for revenge for the betrayal of his lover, the clenched fist holding the weapon indicates the victory achieved and the satisfaction of ending the life of the person who caused him so much torment.
However, when my children asked me what the sculpture meant, I adhered to the common label of art critics:
however inside me it remains a mystery perhaps filled with blood and cruelty.
