Village sign. Berekfürdő. Hungarian Village Program.
Berekfürdő is a village in Hungary with a population of around 1000 people. I will show a few things that I saw today during my walk. Not everything, but a few things.
First there is a pool complex (Strandfürdő).
They have various pools, including thermal water. Nowadays the adult ticket for one day is around 2500 Hungarian Forint (HUF) ($6.94 USD). I have not went into it this time, but I was in their pools as a child.
There is a horse statue in front of the pool complex.
There is a little garden beside the statue.
Of course there are more beautiful flowers and bushes around the pool complex.
There is another statue nearby.
There is a restaurant near the pool complex.
Park restaurant.
A menu is around 1600 Hungarian Forint (HUF) ($4.44 USD), but there are more expensive options too.
There is a playground nearby. It was empty, when I walked there.
A brickhouse nearby.
There are various hotels, motels and guest houses in the village. For example the California Motel and the Fecske Apartman house.
There are two towers in the village.
There are two churches in the village. Or at least I saw two. Maybe there are more.
"The happy hearth is the best medicine".
There are some beautiful flowers around this church.
A little bit away there is a pharmacy.
Apotheke Pharmacy.
The house of reconciliation reformed conference center.
Markets besides the Park restaurant.
Gödör Ice Cream.
Another restaurant ("Banyi" Halászcsárda).
A pub.
The second church.
An abandoned glass factory. It is closed since 2006.
There are multiple blue street faucets in the village.
This is it for today, but there are many more things to see in this village. Feel free to visit it, if/when you are visiting Hungary.
I took these photos today with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12). I have not edited these photos.
Thank you for coming with me on this Market Friday (on Sunday).
Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
