Cafe in the Botanical Garden

Hello everyone!!! Today is Friday, which means we will talk about our purchases on #MarketFriday by @dswigle! (see details here: @dswigle/looking-for-christmas-with-market-friday-rmlwdb).
In Eilat, in the very south of Israel, there is a Botanical Garden. Our friends were there, but they were not very impressed with the visit. But we still decided to go there too and ... were delighted! 😀 Yes, they say in vain: how many people, so many opinions! 😁

My husband has already written a little about this garden, but I want to talk about the cafe. It is located right at the entrance to the Botanical Garden.

Here you can see the menu. Very cool!

These are mainly sweet foods and drinks, including tea and coffee. We decided that we would come here after a walk in the garden and be sure to buy tea.
When we returned to the cafe, we saw someone at the basket of date liqueur (worth about 15 dollars). 😀

See him? 😁

He didn't do well, did he? And then we looked inside! 😁

Hee hee the whole local team is here! 😁 We saw a very interesting advertisement from them:

My husband of course wanted to try it and we bought 2 balls. The cost of one is just over $2. I can't eat it so I only ordered herbal tea for myself. I usually have something with me that I can eat during such snacks.
The area for eating there is very cozy, under a canopy from the sun. We were actually alone there; no one wanted to eat, but just sat there on the benches or bought only ice cream.

In the photo you can still see two sun hats that were given to us by the owner of the apartment where we stayed.

Sweet balls turned out to be very tasty; my husband was glad he bought them. The girl who sold them to us asked if we were allergic to peanuts since peanuts are in the composition. I liked that they were very attentive to people with food restrictions.
Finally, I want to show you a date palm that was grown from a seed that archaeologists found during excavations. This date bone has lain in a vessel for over 1000 years!!!!

This palm tree is the pride of the Botanical Garden! 😀

Take care of yourself and be healthy!
