Hello everyone!!! Today is Friday, which means we will talk about our purchases on #MarketFriday by @dswigle! (see details here: @dswigle/market-friday-takes-the-metro)
We had the opportunity to stay with our friends in Jerusalem. We decided to visit the Biblical Animals Zoo. That is, buy yourself the opportunity to enjoy watching wild animals and birds 😃
It occupies a very large area. It’s quite difficult to get around it all at once (we didn’t manage to do it even once). At the entrance there is a large pond with birds.
Then you walk either along the numerous paths of the zoo along the pavilions with birds, animals or exotic plants...
or over large bridges and small bridges.
Some pavilions are covered, others are more like enclosures.
These parrots were very noisy and funny. And the eagle owl clearly loves to be photographed 😃
I liked most of all walking on the big bridge, looking at the animals below. They are very graceful.
It is still hot here, so many animals slept in the shade.
But some of them still remained at their post 😁
Most of all I was struck by the pavilion with feathered egg incubators.
Of course, I have already seen incubators for chicken eggs and even saw how chickens hatched from eggs there. But for the first time I saw these devices for wild birds. They are very well taken care of in this zoo.
Unfortunately we couldn't see the tigers. Because of the heat, they slept in their inner quarters. And some animals too. Yes, we ourselves were a little tired from the high temperature despite the fact that we tried to stay in the shade. We will leave what we did not see for the next visit.
The ticket price is not high for us - about 18 dollars per person, so it will not be a problem for us to visit this amazing zoo as many times as we want 😃
