Hello, Hive Shoppers! It's another Friday and that means we go shopping in our parts of the world and share our experience in the #marketfriday community initiated by the charming @dswigle!
As you know, Christmas is getting closer by the minute and the celebrations have started already. This is my favourite time of the year because I get to buy gifts for my family and friends and also receive some in return. It's always a lovely gesture to look forward to.
Within the week, I visited Shoprite mall to check out their Christmas decorations and also purchase some household items I needed. I'm already buying my gifts bit by bit because when it's almost Christmas, things get more expensive and scarce too. The earlier, the better!
Here are pictures of some sections of the supermarket. Here's a section where the decorations are kept. I understand there are still more to be displayed later in the day as I arrived there quite early in the morning.
I'll be purchasing some bottles of wine and other drinks (soft and alcoholic) as gifts and for my family's consumption.
I am so nostalgic right now. One of the things I love about this season is the shopping! Ugh, sadly the traffic situation in my city kind of makes it hard to move around much. You would not believe the hours I spent just to get to the mall and return back to my destination. Still, we have a way of braving this obstacle and having a fun-filled celebration!
