I suppose we could call it Autumn, if we must. To me it is pumpkin season. That time of year when everything seems to take on an orange glow and there are pumpkins everywhere.
I took these pictures at a local nursery. They always have such pretty seasonal displays!
Isn’t it just the happiest possible color? I am always a bit sad at the end of summer, but I am instantly revived by the beauty of the fall light snd the color of pumpkins.
I love the pretty potted displays at the nursery, and they are so tempting. But I still have a lot of color in my garden and I’m always hesitant to buy something that will only last a month or so. Last year our first frost was before Halloween!
