Traditional markets are one of the choices for buyers, the City of Yogjakarta is in a special Province in Central Java.
There is a traditional market that sells clothes, bags an other accessories that have Batik motifs. This market is called Beringharjo markets.
This traditional market includes an existing market since along time ago, the location is in the Center of Yogjakarta street Malioboro. This road is one of the busiest roads visited from various Cities in Indonesia.
This traditional market sells various clothes from children to old people with Batik motif. Batik is a typical Indonesian motif. Yogjakarta is quite far from where I live about 750 kilometers an I come to this City for a tour.
Many are on offer clothing ranging, I tried to enter Beringharjo market to buy some clothes, before buying they clothers I went to a kiosk that sells Bags made of batik cloth.
The standard price here is used so that other traders can profit from their merchandise, at the kiosk this bag can be seen from a far because the bags are hung in front of their respective stalls.
I choose a variety of bags,three Bags of selected batik cloth, the price of the bag, because here is a traditional market. Bargaining is done between buyers and sellers.
The price of the merchant's bag offers Rp 45.000,- or about 3 USD, then bargaining occurs, the deal price is Rp 30.000,-(thirty thousand rupiah) or the equivalent of 2 USD.
I bough 3 bags, so the total is Rp 90.000,- or about. 6 USD. Offer being paid for then packaged. I walked again to another kiosk to buy neghigee clothers.
These clothers were used for women, bough 2 negligee clothes and 3 T-shirts with batik motifs. The price of a long dress has been offered for Rp 50.000,- about 3 used,because buying two is paid Rp 100.000,- or about 7 USD.
For the price is IDR 25.000,- or about less than 2 USD, because 3 t-shirt, I paid IDR 75.000,- or about 5 USD. To the total money I spent was around Rp 265.000,- or about 17,66 USD. This price is quite famous cheap.
