Bad foot odor when you're away from home ends up in a Market Friday

Hello folks,

Last week, logistically, was a very intense week for me in which I started my work week in the north of Spain, on the Cantabrian coast, where I spent the beginning of the week with abnormally high temperatures and spectacular weather.

Every day after leaving work I walked through various parts of the city of Castro Urdidles as is the promenade and even toured one of its cemeteries, which is spectacular.

On Thursday, after finishing my work day, I moved to the city of Valladolid, 300km from Castro Urdidles and despite arriving at night I took a light walk to stretch my legs and clear my mind.

The next day, a dilemma filled my mind: do I go back home, 500 km northbound, and on Sunday, do 700 km southbound to work in Guadalajara? Do I call my aunt who lives near Madrid and save me many kilometers of condition in a few days?

Finally, I decided to call my aunt, who gladly welcomed me in her house, but until 9 pm on Friday they could not receive me because they were at a birthday party of one of the friends of my 8 year old cousin. Therefore, I arrived at Torrejón de Ardoz with 3 hours empty and decided to visit a beautiful park full of replicas of sculptures and monuments of Europe.

The truth is that for about 3 hours I had fun touring the park and was able to visit the Manneken Pis in Brussels with a beautiful shadow behind him.

I was able to visit the Trevi Fountain without going to Italy with a David by Michelangelo just a few meters away.

Or see a small Eiffel Tower surrounded by beautiful gardens with pretty roses and other flowers that made the walk very pleasant.

After these 3 hours of walking, I went to my aunt's house drenched in sweat from the high temperatures and took a cold shower. However, my shoes smelled dead and it was the moment I realized that in my luggage I only had a pair of shoes as alternative footwear.

So, the next day I decided to go shopping at a mall to make sure I had decent footwear for the weekend.

Upon arriving at the Corredor mall which is very close to my aunt's house, I went around a couple of sports stores checking out the promotions that were available on footwear, but it was this store called Sprinter where I found some better deals.

In this store there was a section dedicated to athletic footwear with very good deals on Nike brand sneakers and also Adidas brand sneakers.

Since I have always liked Adidas sneakers over other brands, it was easy to make the choice and more when there was a great offer with prices from 39,99 Euros in a wide range of models. So I just had to select the color and the chosen one was a light gray.

One of the things I liked the most about the store is that once you choose the model and color. An employee sends a notice to the store with the reference of the shoe and it is sent to the cashier. This way you take home a new model and not a model from the store display.

Apart from sports shoes, which is the store's main specialty, there are also sections for sportswear such as tracksuits and sweatshirts.

At the same time, as summer is coming, there was also a small section of swimwear for women and men.

And already at the checkout a section of accessories such as backpacks or very striking water flasks.

Happy, for the purchase I returned with the rest of the family who were also doing their shopping.

After washing my feet, I put on my new sneakers with the pleasure of using a clean shoe and without the stress that gives me that my feet can give off unpleasant odors to the people around me.

Best regards.
