Market Friday,,At Melcom Shop For Curtains and Other Products

Hello good afternoon, another Friday is here with us and indeed is always exciting. It has become a norm for me to go out every Friday to at least see and know how the market is booming. I must first of all give all the credit to @dswigle for masterminding this great initiative.

Today on the market Friday episode, I present to You The Meclcom shop in Kumasi Fankyenebra. Melcom is one of the well known super market across the country. They have so many branches across the country. In Kumasi alone they have about 10 branches. They have brought marketing to the door step of the ordinary Ghanaian buyer.
Today I together with the family paid a courtesy visit to this said branch.
Our mission for today shopping was to purchase curtains and other decorations materials.

Indeed, when you get to the market or shopping mall, is where you feel the impact of the economy. Prices of goods have generally increased at a pace we can't even comprehend. No wonder in news By the BBC, Ghana was captured as one of the hardship country to leave in Africa.

To our dismay, a curtain we estimated to be around GHc150 for window side was GHC 200.We planned of buying as many as possible because we are using it for our new house together with the curtain bars.
Our budget couldn't sum up to what we wanted so we have to return again in order for us to be able to purchase what we want.

Looking how things are going, I think the government must develop a strategy to at least control price mechanism within the country.
