Thank God for another Friday and a beautiful and promising one at that. Thanks to #marketfriday by dswigle.
This community has been a very helpful one to me in particular. I love all market community members. Remain blessed the test of the days in this week.
This week, I also decided to go and check out what is happening in the cement factory in my town.
The reason why I did that is because I have plans to purchase cement to complete by uncompleted bungalow which has been left without any work on it because of financial constrain.
I wanted to know the prices of cement from the different companies, so as to compare and contrast.
It has been planned before now to complete our building. So from the prices I got from the dealer, I noticed that there is time for rising of cement and the time for it fall.
During dry season especially here in my country, bags of cement is cheaper to compare to raining season. The price of cement this time of rain if #400. But for the time that we bought the cement during dru season, it was sold at the rate of #4500 per bag.
You see that the difference is mich when you are purchasing like hundred or two hundred bags.
So, I now know why some people prefer building their houses during raining season. To get the blocks at a cheaper rate.
They don't only sell cements , but also sell iron rods used for building, and so many other building materials that one may need when building.
From my findings, I now know how to plan for the competition of my house and also save enough money for the project.
