Many talks with a cheer for Victory

Greetings everyone🙌

All through the days of last week, I assured myself that I wouldn't be late to church the coming Sunday (today). I worked towards that, prepared my clothes before Saturday, polished my shoes, and above all, I promised myself to go to sleep on time on Saturday night so I would wake up on time on Sunday morning, say at most 5:00 a.m.

Funny thing, I found myself going to bed on Saturday's night by 12:00 a.m. Why? What happened?
I was streaming a match between South Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's a match I couldn't miss for any reason because it's the second-to-last match of the tournament, and I also wanted to witness live, where the Bafana Bafana will lose, but unfortunately, lock shined on them and they clinched the bronze medal.

"Let me go and sleep, and make sure I wake up by 5:00 a.m."

I entered bed; the heat became so intense, and I found it so hard to catch sleep on time....but I later fell into slumber after much struggles.
When I awoke, it was already 6:31 a.m.

Jeeeez! I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. I was already late for church at 6:31 a.m. Our church service starts at 7:00 a.m., but I belong to a service group that demands its members be present at or before 6:30 a.m. on every church day.

This is one of the reasons I love how God created me as a man and not a woman. I did all my preparation within 7 minutes.
Hold on; I don't mean just taking my bath. I mean, I had my bathe, wore my complete uniform of a longsleeve shirt, a black trouser, a small jacket, a big jacket, and a black shoe, and crowned it with a black tie.
Yes, I did all these in very fast mode; of course, I didn't need many checks, like going for mirror.... because I'm a guy.
The only issue I had was how I was sweating in the midst of that, even though it's morning and I just had my bath.

Although I was already late for my unit, time was still available for me to catch up before the church started.
I came out, and luckily, I got a bike. I didn't haggle the price; I just entered, and we left. The heat in this period is too much!

FINAL MATCH TODAY;

I'm a very patriotic person when it comes to supporting my national football team. During the church service, I took out time to pray for victory in today's match, the final match of the ongoing AFCON tournament.
It sounds stupid, right?
Okay, let me tell you:

Today's match is so important, and it's going to bring a lot of smiles to many Nigerians faces if we win.
So for me, praying for us to win means I was praying for happiness to be in the faces of Nigeria.

You still don't understand, right?
A lot of people, in fact, up to 80% of Nigerians, have been so keenly aware of the happenings in the ongoing tournament to the extent that four sport-loving Nigerians died out of shock during our previous match....they couldn't withstand the push of adrenaline.
Do you see how important the match is to Nigerians?

Let's win!

Nothing much...

This is me talking about my Sunday and pouring out my heart for the long-awaited victory tonight.
If Nigeria wins, I might come and do a giveaway. Hahahah😅

Thank you for reading.

Wish us luck.
