NOT A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL 🙄😖🤬😤

Women like us enjoy pampering ourselves every now and then, especially if our boyfriend will pay for it, so why not? lol
So, as an early Christmas present from my partner, he gave me some money to treat myself for doing a good job at work and not being a crazy girlfriend all the time. lol

So I checked out the salons near me that had good recommendations and were able to visit their social media pages on four of them. I contacted all four as well, but three of them were fully booked on the date of my preferred appointment, and just one of them works well with my preferred time. Though traveling on the other side of the city was time-consuming, I took the risk because I no longer have the opportunity to take any time off. I went to this salon hoping to get a decent result because they had high recommendations, so I took a chance. I arrived at this location 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time because I despise being late. The first thing I noticed as I entered the salon was the awful odor of the paint being applied outside of the premises. Because I have a sensitive nose, which may exacerbate my sinusitis attack, it adds to my impression and raises my right brow slightly. lol

I started earlier than planned and, based on their online pricing, I should have gotten the discounted price, but I still had to pay an extra 2,000 PHP, which I didn't mind because I added a hair service. I expected that each stylist would handle two clients because the process of hair rebonding and hair color would take 5-6 hours, but they keep accepting customers until I feel like they are overdoing things just to make more money, imagine for one stylist four clients, which raises my brows again, but I trust the process as long as I get a good result. While waiting, I tried other services they offered because I was already there and would not be able to visit the salon again. I had a foot spa with a pedicure and also had my nails done, which I didn't like because it wasn't the same as it looked on my prior nail tech. But, once again, I don't complain because it's a tiny issue that I can still manage and handle, and I don't want to upset or cause any trouble. So, after a week, I noticed my hair returning to its natural curl. I ignored it since it appeared to be normal, but by the second week, they had become wavy in most areas in front. I did follow the aftercare instructions. I never iron it or expose it to excessive heat. As a result, I decided to contact them and inform them of my worry.

I actually told them what happened, and they had a lot of questions, which I am willing to answer and even show them the evidence. I was anticipating a different reaction, but to my surprise, they blamed it on my baby hair. I recognize the baby hair part, and it may be acceptable, but the fact that half of my front hair area becomes wavy is difficult to explain. I expected it to return after 7 to 8 months or so, but two months is unbelievable. I was about to let it go, but their last message was quite harsh. This is not excellent customer service, and as someone who works in that profession, I will definitely give it a NO. They showed little empathy for the problem and lacked an apology for admitting their bad judgment in blaming it on me rather than providing me recommendations on what could have been done. This is just unacceptable to me.

I'm still enraged about it and can't believe this horrible experience. I may be one of the customers that had a poor experience with this place, but I still feel they should improve how they handle complaints and put themselves in their customers' shoes every now and then.

I hope none of you have had this experience since it would be quite sad when all we want is to be pampered and have a wonderful outcome after we have paid for the service, anyway that's all for now, sorry for my rant but I hope some of you can relate to this. It may not be about your hair or nails, but about the other services we paid for and experienced awful customer service.
