¡La identificación! / The identification!

La identificación nos ocurre a todos, ella es un indicativo infalible de estar en estado de sueño. Ilustremos la identificación mediante el siguiente ejemplo: Supongamos que vamos caminando por una calle y en la misma acera por donde transitamos se encuentra una persona demente; al pasar a su lado esta persona comienza a insultarla, a decir improperios sobre nuestra persona, sin ningún tipo de contacto físico con nosotros y sin amenazarnos de ninguna manera. Usted de seguro ha visto como algunas personas en situaciones similares se molestan y comienzan a discutir con el demente, respondiendo a los afrentas con agravios. Aquí estamos en presencia de una identificación. Esa persona hizo suya las injurias, se ofendió y pago con la misma moneda porque su identificación se transformo en una emoción negativa, la hizo agresiva lo cual le robó su tranquilidad y su paz.

Identification happens to all of us, it is an infallible indicator of being in a sleep state. Let us illustrate the identification by means of the following example: Let us suppose that we are walking down a street and on the same sidewalk where we are traveling there is an insane person; at the moment that you are passing by this person begins, he begins to insult you, to say insults about you, without any physical contact with you and without threatening you in any way. You have surely seen how some people in similar situations get upset and start arguing with the insane person, responding to insults with grievances. Here we are in the presence of an identification. That person has made those insults said by the indigent his own, he feels offended and has paid with the same currency because his identification introduces him into a negative emotion, it makes him aggressive person and has robbed his tranquility and peace.

No la ve como una amenaza, la ignora, no se incomoda por la situación y por lo tanto no experimenta ningún tipo de identificación con el suceso, lo cual le permite conservar su paz. Ese momento en el cual la persona captó que el enajenado es una persona enferma es un instante de consciencia, que puede durar tan solo segundos. Lo importante es que estuvo presente en ese momento, en ese aquí y ahora. También puede ocurrir que otra persona pudo pasar al lado del enfermo mental y no identificarse con esa situación debido a que su estado de sueño era tan profundo que ni siquiera notó la presencia del demente sin ni siquiera enterarse de lo que allí sucedió.

Other people do not pay attention to such words uttered by the insane person, generally that person realizes, becomes aware of the state of insanity of the person who shouts the expletives. It can also happen that another person could pass by the mentally ill person and not identify with that situation because their sleep state was so deep that they did not even notice the presence of the indigent person without even noticing what is happening around him.

Que el estado de sueño nos abstrae de la realidad, de lo que ocurre en el ahora; que inclusive nos puede conducir a un estado en el que predominan las emociones negativas. Mientras que el estado consciente nos permite mantener nuestro control, no el control de la situación, sino la forma en la que reaccionamos hacia los acontecimientos.

Understand that there are the three different reactions to the same situation, in the first and the third cases, no moment of consciousness was manifested; while in the second situation it did occur. What can we deduce from this example? That the sleep state puts people out from reality, from what is happening at the moments when things or events takes places and that conditions could lead to a state in which negative emotions predominate. On the other hand, the conscious state allows us to maintain our control, not to control of the situation per se, but it allows us to take command of the way in which we react to those events.

Obsérvese como si la persona observada que es usted mismo fuera otra persona. Si se presenta una situación que le causa molestia, respire unas siete veces profundamente; ésta práctica a ponen en contacto con su ser interno y le devuelve el control de su mundo interno.
