When we don't know what's true, who cares, just make crap up

There is something I have noticed about humans and our brains. We make things up. We create reality so much that we fill in gaps in situations that we share with others.

We often create an echo chamber and surround ourselves with like mindedness. We want to feel secure and unchallenged. We like when we "know" what is happening.

What about taking in information that may contradict what we believe to be true. Can our minds even handle it? In some cases it changes our reality moving forward, in other cases our brains can nit even process the information and act like it isn't there.

Life is amazing, and the mind has been shown to be fickle.

Be well
