Winning First Place With My Students In The Valentine's Door Decoration Contest

Who would have thought that we would be the champion of the Yes for Love Special Event?

Winning first place in the contest was a moment of pride and achievement with my dear learners.

I never really thought we would hit the first spot, as many sections in our school were very competitive.

Every year there are many special events for Valentine's Day. Aside from the Door decoration contest, my students also won in Spoken Love Poetry Competition. It was not only a day to celebrate love but also gratitude and excitement.

When the host organization announced that our section had won first place in the Valentine's Decoration Contest, I could not help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment.

At first, I could not believe that we had bagged the award. But later, I realized that my students deserved the first-place prize.

After only a day of hard work and creativity, we finally achieved a satisfying reward, and it was an incredibly gratifying and fulfilling experience. Then a wave of joy, excitement, and happiness washed over me.

We won! It was such an incredible feeling to see all of our hard work and effort being recognized and appreciated by others in my workplace.

All of the hard work had paid off, and we had managed to create something extraordinary as the theme was inspired by sounds of real love using a reel design combined with priceless moments in the classroom with my students as displayed in the classic film of pictures printed on the door.

Perhaps winning the contest was a moment of pure joy and celebration. It was a chance to feel proud of what we had accomplished, and it was a moment that I will always treasure and one that I will look back on with humility, fondness, and pride.

Indeed it was an opportunity for us in the school to get creative, show our skills, and participate in a fun, friendly competition.

The judges were impressed by the attention to detail and the creativity of the winning design as we used recyclable materials to create it.

We made use of different textures and colors using recyclable materials to create a visually stunning display that reflected Valentine's Day that conveyed a sense of warmth, joy, and love through the use of reels to display genuine love in my classroom.

Some recyclable materials used in our door decorations were old CDs, scratch papers, old packaging boxes for the borders, and used bottle caps and plastics.

Winning the contest was proof of the hard work of everyone in the classroom while manifesting creativity, and teamwork, as my students were thrilled to be recognized for their achievement.

Consequently, the win was also a source of motivation and inspiration for the entire school community regarding the importance of creativity and innovation and the significance of art in bringing all my students together to create a sense of joy and celebration.

And that Valentine’s Door Decoration Contest was both fun and meaningful. It was a chance for students and us teachers to showcase creativity, celebrate love, and create a sense of connection. I am always grateful for the experience and the opportunity to share it with me, which filled me with pride, achievement, and joy.
