Hello everyone it's the Afritunes week 86 contest and today I will be presenting a song by Destiny Kids titled "Thank you lord", it's a song that I remember during the week and it took me down memory lane, I remembered the time I and my cousins usually sang along to their songs, I was in a call with another of my cousin Blessing's sister. And I couldn't help it but think about our times together.

I had searched for this song critically on the internet and finally, I got it. I extracted the instrumental using the Moises app. At first it was a song by destiny kids, but in another way I am reminded about our loss and I can't help but think about how we would have been now.

The song's lyrics are so touching on it own because it talks about how God cares for us and how we would always sing his praises.

I sent this song to my sister and I asked if she remembered this song and she said the same thing I had thought about, that it reminds her of our cousin.

Well this is not a song one should be sad singing, it's just that it brings memories of who we miss and we know we can't bring her back but we still have to still thank God for all that he has done and all he will still do for us.
