AFRI-TUNES WEEK #35 || IMELA BY NATHANIEL BASSEY (COVER)

Hello Afri-tunes community and all music lovers, it's another week again to share African music and so for this week being the 35th I'll be presenting a song titled Imela by Nathaniel Bassey ft. Enitan Adaba.

The goodness, mercy, favour, grace of God over our lives are countless/unlimited, we cannot thank Him enough but still we shouldn't stop giving Him thanks.

I could remember when I was asked to lead this song in choir back then in school, hmm we thank God everything just like yesterday. I'm picking this song not for anything else but as a sacrifice of Thanksgiving to God. I hope you enjoy it.

Song lyrics
When I think upon Your goodness
And Your faithfulness each day
I'm convinced it's not because I am worthy
To receive the kind of love that You give
But I'm grateful for Your mercy
And I'm grateful for Your grace
And because of how You've poured out your Yourself
I have come to sing this song out in praise

Imela, Imela
Okaka, Onyekeruwa (Great and Might creator of the world)
Imela, Imela (Thank You! Thank You!)
Eze mo (My King)

Onyedikagi (Who is like You?)
Ekene diri gi (All Glory belongs to You)
Onye ne mema (He who does good)
Onyedikagi (Who is like You?)
Ekene diri gi (All Glory belongs to You)
Onye nagworia (Mighty Healer)

Imela, Imela
Okaka, Onyekeruwa (Great and Might creator of the world)
Imela, Imela (Thank You! Thank You!)
Eze mo (My King)
