AFRITUNES WEEK #28_//Trumpet Cover of You're The Treasure That I Seek by Adaz
Source
The movie is full of Love and hurts but I bet you the movie is really an interesting one and you can find it to watch if you haven't. As of then my favorite character became Emeka Ike because of this movie because He really got this one very well, the movie so full of emotions from Him and his lover. The movie story became painful at the end when Emeka lost His "Love Of My Life" (LOML) after several attempts to make sure she survived the chronic sickness that caught her, It was painful because just as their love was moving to a greater stage everything turned out shattered by the inevitable presence of death. I might really have to go back and watch from the movie again because a lot of story has gone off. That is where I first came across the song "You Were The Treasure That I Seeked" and I hope you enjoy my trumpet sound...🙏💙
Lyrics of "You Were The Treasure That I Seeked" by Adaz
You are the treasure that I seeked
You were close to me yet I did not know
The love that I seeked for many years
Was right beside me
Yet I couldn′t feel it
When I close my eyes
(My eyes)
When you said you were going
I see you coming to me
My girl
I didn't know that it was our hearts speaking
To each other
When the breeze of love
(Of love)
Flow you to me my girl
(My Angel)
I thought it was an everlasting love
But it hurts me to see you go
You made me cry
When you said you were going
I cried
When you left me alone
I wish...(I wish)
I could hold you close
Once again to my heart
You made me cry
When you said you were going
(When you were leaving)
I cried
When you left me alone
I wish...(I wish)
I could hold you close
Once again to my heart
Special appreciation goes to the moderators of the Afri-tunes weekend initiative @ksam, @starstrings01 and @obaro for this great opportunity to share our African music here on Hive. It's my pleasure participating in This weekend entry.
