“Yahweh Sabaoth” is a gospel song by Nathaniel Bassey. The name “Yahweh Sabaoth” may mean “The Lord of Hosts or The Lord of Armies”
The song calls people to understand that God is the great warrior and He will reign over all the heavenly host as well as the entire earth.
It is understood that “Yahweh Sabaoth” is not only the song but the proclamation of faith and trust in the God Almighty and his victory effectively for any combat or any threat. The use of the name Yahweh Sabaoth throughout the song in which listeners are again reminded of God’s great power and ability to save and fight for His people.
