Afri-Tunes week 34 / Eyen Amana (cover) by @jessicaossom

Greetings Afri-tunes community. I decided to do a song in my dialect titled 'Eyen Amana'. In English, it means 'A Child is Born.

This was one of the songs I sang during the Christmas Carol in my church last year and it was an interesting one. I uploaded the video of that particular performance on my YouTube channel so that I could always go check it.

In the next few weeks, we will all start singing and hearing carol songs. Mine has started already. Yesterday evening, I received a notification on my phone and when I checked, it was from my choir coordinator.

At first I assumed that it was a check-up message, but it wasn't. The message contained the list of the songs we would all be taking on our carol day which will be coming up on the Sunday before Christmas. At thee side of the names of each song were the names of choristers who would be leading the carol songs.

Two out of the songs were assigned to me, and we would start proper rehearsal for carol songs on Saturday. I'm excited for the carol and the rehearsal. But, I haven't scored it at all. Well, I know I will cross the bridge when I get there.

I didn't sing the last part of the song though, it's a call and response kind of song, but I hope you enjoy listening to it like that hehe.

Below is the full lyrics of the song 'Eyen Amana'. I'm not sure it is on Google.
The full lyrics with interpretation.
