WHAT IS ONE THING THAT YOU CAN TEACH ME

** As simple as the question looks and might also sound, it took me 7 days to figure out what I can teach you and I'm so ashamed of myself though but I hope you can still accept my lesson, though it might not be a significant lesson but I hope you learn something. I thought of so many things during the past days and I was almost discouraged and that made me real disappointed in myself, so I can't teach something to people? So I thought to myself. This thought made me thought more deeply about the question so I can get an answer and finally, I figured out something I could teach to someone. *** **

I CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO BE TRUTHFUL, HOW?

I often do things wrongly and instead of me to tell the truth when asked, I choose to tell a lie so I don't get punished or being looked down on. With time, I begin to realize that the lies I told was doing me so much harm and I was not so comfortable with it because I was being taught every time to always say the truth and the truth will make me free, according to Romans 8:32 of the Holy Bible. As time went by, I kept growing in knowledge and for every lie I told I asked myself this question, why do I even lie? Even when I know that lying makes me the child of the devil. While I was trying to figure out the answer, I got some possible reasons why anyone would want to lie and they are; * **FOR SAFETY**: Most times, most people lie so they can save themselves. For instance, I was told to clean a room in an apartment for someone and why I was doing the job, I spoilt something by mistake and when I was asked, I said it was already broken before I got there. According to this, you will see that I lied to save myself from getting punished. * **FOR GAIN**: There are others who lie so they could benefit from people. This is very common in the world today and to some extent, it has almost become a norm in our world. People no longer see lying as anything when it comes to business. * **AS A MEANS TO SAVE A SITUATION**: Some lie to save a situation, for instance, when a man dies in an hospital who his wife has heart issues, so the doctor refuses to tell the wife her husband was dead but told her he was fine, but later told her after giving her some treatment to help her not lose her life as well. This type of lie might be justified but the truth is the doctor lied but to save the life of the woman. *** ######

SOME WAYS TO OVERCOME LYING

*** There are a host of other reasons that can make anyone lie but then, how can I teach us how to stop lying? Well, first thing is, you have to know that lying is a sin, it's not good to lie. Other things that can help you stop lying are; *** 1️⃣ ***Before lying to anyone, put yourself in the person's place, if it was you someone was going to tell that lie to, would you have been happy when you find out the truth?*** *** 2️⃣ ***To those that say they are Christians, you have to always give a straightforward answer, YES or NO just as the Bible commanded in the book of Matthew 5:37. When we give a direct answer to a question, it helps us to avoid lies.*** *** 3️⃣ ***Always strive to be upright by letting people know what you stand for. To those of us that believes in the existence of God and his word, you will understand that God hates lies because he said the devil is father of all lies, whether big or small, lie still remain a lie. There are so many ways I can teach us to stop lying, I said us because I'm not exempted myself. I was able to recommended this ways for you because I've been implementing them and it's working really well for me and I'm very positive it will for you as well. ** Tan simple como parece y también puede sonar la pregunta, me tomó 7 días descubrir qué puedo enseñarle y estoy muy avergonzado de mí mismo, pero espero que aún pueda aceptar mi lección, aunque puede que no sea un significativo lección pero espero que aprendas algo. A menudo hago las cosas mal y en lugar de decir la verdad cuando me preguntan, elijo decir una mentira para no ser castigado o menospreciado. Con el tiempo empiezo a darme cuenta de que las mentiras que decía me estaban haciendo mucho daño y no estaba tan cómoda con eso porque me enseñaban cada vez a decir siempre la verdad y la verdad me hará libre, según Romanos 8 :32 de la Santa Biblia. A medida que pasaba el tiempo, seguí creciendo en conocimiento y por cada mentira que decía me hacía esta pregunta, ¿por qué miento? Incluso cuando sé que mentir me convierte en hijo del diablo. Por ejemplo, me dijeron que limpiara una habitación en un departamento para alguien y por qué estaba haciendo el trabajo, estropeé algo por error y cuando me preguntaron, dije que ya estaba roto antes de llegar allí. Según esto, verás que mentí para evitar que me castigaran. * **PARA GANAR**: Hay otros que mienten para poder beneficiarse de las personas. Esto es muy común en el mundo de hoy y, hasta cierto punto, casi se ha convertido en una norma en nuestro mundo. La gente ya no ve la mentira como algo cuando se trata de negocios. * **COMO UN MEDIO PARA SALVAR UNA SITUACIÓN**: Algunos mienten para salvar una situación, por ejemplo, cuando un hombre muere en un hospital y su esposa tiene problemas cardíacos, por lo que el médico se niega a decirle a la esposa que su esposo estaba muerto pero le dijo que estaba bien, pero luego se lo dijo después de darle un tratamiento para ayudarla a que no perdiera la vida también. Este tipo de mentira puede estar justificada pero la verdad es que el médico mintió pero para salvar la vida de la mujer. *** ######

ALGUNAS FORMAS DE SUPERAR LAS MENTIRAS

*** Hay muchas otras razones que pueden hacer que cualquiera mienta, pero entonces, ¿cómo puedo enseñarnos cómo dejar de mentir? Bueno, lo primero es que tienes que saber que mentir es pecado, no es bueno mentir. Otras cosas que pueden ayudarte a dejar de mentir son; *** 1️⃣ ***Antes de mentirle a alguien, ponte en el lugar de la persona, si fueras a ti a quien alguien le iba a decir esa mentira, ¿habrías sido feliz al saber la verdad?*** *** 2️⃣ ***A los que dicen ser cristianos, siempre hay que darles una respuesta directa, SÍ o NO tal como lo manda la Biblia en el libro de Mateo 5:37. Cuando damos una respuesta directa a una pregunta, nos ayuda a evitar mentiras.*** *** 3️⃣ ***Esfuércese siempre por ser íntegro al dejar que la gente sepa lo que representa.
