[Polessins' Grow Log] - Durban Poison and Banana Blaze Week#10

Hello Everyone =)

Cópia de DURBAN POISON AND BANANA BLAZE WEEK #1 (3).jpg

We are already on week #10... Time flies. I really wish these were autos so it was almost time to harvest, lol. But this photos are being an awesome experiment. I like the way they recover and the fact that i can hold them as much as i can in the vegetative form, this gives me enough time to fix my mistakes until i get them 100% ready to start flowering.

Check week#9 status here

I think durban 1 is evolving pretty well. I removed most of the bad leaves last sunday, beside that one you can spot, which is getting yellow and curly. Since the leave are still helping, i won't pluck it out yet. I took a close picture from where i toped, and it is amazing to see the difference between the both branches. Below the toped spot you can also see the difference between the branch which i did some LST and the other one that was in the exactly same size when i started the training. This plant just hit the light again, and i had to adjust it a little bit higher. I will probably have to adjust it once again soon...

By the end, it does seem a healty plant for now. I guess this next 2 weeks she will start showing heavy flowering signs. i hope so at least.

Ah she is looking much better. I also removed some burned leaves last sunday and so far nothing bad seems to be happening. I Like how healthy her leeaves are looking. I am just worried about no side brances development. So far all i got are these 2 main branches. All the possible branches that should have already being growing are not. The durban 1 has almost 3 times more branches then this one, and i am not counting the double accidental top that happened. Looking at her now, i am not sure if it natural of its genetic all this streetching, or if i messed up with the light when they were start growing up. Still... after i flushed it seems like it got much better, and i am hoping i get a few extra branches before she starts showing flowering signs....

Banana Blaze

And here is Banana Blaze. The main reason i am planting only indicas for while. This strain is just amazing. She won't give you any problems at all. I am still a little confused about the defoliating tho. There are just to many leaves, and a lot of them seems to be blocking the light path. But if i start to take these all out, there will be probably not much left, and the plant will probably feel the heavy stress of such a heavy defoliation. So right now i decided to keep most of the leaves like they are. The branches are doing their thing and are finding a way out into the light. You will see in the next picures, that this banana is almost as tall as the other durbans, but extreme bushy and promising. After taking about 30 pictures of each plant, i realized i am one of the worst photographers that walk in this planet, so i will just blame my phone camera.

The little big clone

So. Right now i am pretty sure this thing worked out. The roots are trying to get out of the cup by any way. I decided to transplant it tomorrow. I watered it a lot today, and tomorrow morning before doing my stuff i will quickly go and transplant it into a 5 gallon pot just like the others. I can't wait to see what is going to happen when i start feeding it. Since this is my first clonning atempt, i don't really know what to expect from it. it does look pretty healthy too. When i looked into Week#9 photo, and this one, i got really surprised. I did not realized it was growing that much. It indeed looks pretty solid to me. And i think she is ready to start a real diet. So i guess i will pre water the pot tomorrow, with fert already, plant it, and pray.

That is all for this week =)

Thanks every one for reading. I hope you are enjoying this grow log. And maybe you can also learn something throught it too. See you in Week#11 !

Peace and Cheer's !
