Sugar Cookies indica - First Day of Recreational Cannabis Sales for Connecticut

I cracked open this bag of Sugar Cookies, for a tasty and uplifting treat - January 10th, 2023 was the first day of legal recreational cannabis sales in Connecticut.

First Day of Recreational Cannabis Sales for Connecticut

Jan 10th, 2023 - right on schedule, a busy first day of legal recreational cannabis sales in the state of Connecticut. Now, anyone 21 and older with an ID can purchase cannabis at one of the many medicinal dispensaries that are now licensed for recreational sales (Source: Fox 5 New York).

Seven recreational dispensaries have opened so far, two more will open soon. Cannabis tax is set at about 20%, to help fund the state of Connecticut (Source: Eye Witness News3). Many residents are relieved that they can now legally purchase cannabis, for medicinal or recreational uses - with less hassle, or worry of life interrupting legal trouble (Source: Fox 5 New York).
