Steem Og, The Grand Finale

Sunset over the Steem Og

What's up Weedcash! So today I want to give you a tour of my little outdoor garden. It is not much, but it is something that brings me joy. If you have followed my blog the last few years, you will know my outdoor spot is not the most ideal to grow. This is due to my 2 story apartment building obstructing the sun. But I do have a small window of opportunity that I take advantage of each year. I have learned a great deal about my micro climate. This consists of playing tag with the sun. I set a pot in a certain spot to catch the earliest sunrise, then mid day I move to a different spot to catch the evening sun. Then the process is repeated for a good 3 months. But there is a time where there is only one spot the sun really shines, and that time is now. Which is why I decided to put my Steem Og in a permanent spot. You can read all about the transplant here.

Birds Eye View

Sunrise on this spot is 11am. Sunset around 8pm. Not even getting a full 12 hours of sun. It would be even less if this plant was not in a raised bed. This is something I learned, and in the past I just set the pot on top of a table, or a bench. This is why I decided to purchase a raised bed. It is perfect for my Micro Climate!

What started off as a plant to experiment on, has turned into a plant that is the biggest and quite possibly the most healthiest plant I have grow to date. I have honed my Super Cropping skills. I have made some compost teas that worked great, and have learned they will work great on my indoor plants as well. It is amazing what can be accomplished when you are care free.

Flowering has begun. So I have started to add a high phosphorus plant mix, along with the Mammoth P to the tea mixes. I have also slowly cut off growth that is not getting direct sunlight. There was alot of it, since I really was only Supper Cropping, along with LST training, and not focusing on lollipopping.

So now I will just sit back and hope the sun stays shining until finish. After this, I will add more knowledge about my Micro Climate. Hopefully I do not live in this apartment forever, but I do hope to stay here for at least another 3 years before I can buy a house. Before that, I will become a master of my back yard. Now as far as acquiring the complete knowledge about growing cannabis, that will take a lifetime.
