Being from Venezuela, this time we show the mystery cook how mandocas are made.
Ingredients:
- Arepa dough (Precooked cornmeal)
- Very ripe banana or panela
- and make the special shape that represents the mandocas
Steps:
- We make the normal cornmeal dough, as if we were going to make arepas. but we put the ripe plantain or panela. We mix well.
- We make the shape of the mandoca and fry, bake or in the Air Frier, they will be delicious anywhere.
- If you put ripe banana, it would be good to put a pinch of the sugar you use, honey, agave, normal white or brown sugar, etc. So that they are sweeter.
Curious note: I read somewhere that the image that represents the World Cup this year is inspired by the shape of a mandoca, do you think so? Tell me your opinion...
