I wanted to make you all aware of something that may seem obvious to some, but for people who are new to this type of social media they should know!
When you post here on @dunksocial you are not only posting here, but also onto the blockchain that governs our site called Hive.
When you use tags at the end of your post, they are not only markers for what the topic of the post is, but also dictate what communities on Hive receive your post onto their feed.
For example, if you write a post and it relates to cinema in some way, you should be tagging cine at the end of your post because you will post a topically relevant post there.
The benefit of using a few different tags is that you are able to earn crypto rewards for the communities that you publish to! So in that example, not only would you be earning DUNK, but also CINE and because you did this on the Hive blockchain you will earn HIVE too!!!
With great power comes great responsibility. Be sure that you are only using tags that are relevant to the site you want your post to go to. You should not be tagging leofinance in a post that does not contain anything about finance!
Keep it relevant, but also maximize your earning potential and visibility by keeping your tags diverse!
