Oldtimers found in Portorož, Slovenia

Dear Hivean's,

Hope you've also had an hivemazing weekend!

This weekend was an extended one for me. Starting from Thursday and ended today with coming back home not long ago. I've made a nice long road trip combined with camping, swimming, sleeping in a hotel' under the million stars, diving, jumping off a cliff and took time to gather energies.

Started early in the morning, prepared everything for the road trip or a mini much needed holiday the night before. I got used to giving my longer road trips online we call prevozi.org where I help people get as close to their wished destination as possible and get a bit of gas in exchange. It gives me a good feeling of helping out somebody and the ride's are usually more exciting. After 200 kilometers and around 2 hour drive we arrived at our coast where I dropped the person off in tiny, but beautiful city Portorož.

Not long after I parked the car, went to get something to eat and went on a short walk right by the sea to watch waves, enjoy the presence of the sea and watch fisherman's trying to catch a meal.

When I ate I continued my journey with my Passat down the nice road threw Portorož where I had to turn around, park the car and went to see some real gems that were driving on our roads, guessing they had a historic rally and stopped in a hotel for some rest.

These were very rare gem's that you hardly can't see on the road anymore, but I believe they drive beautifully. At the end of the day, all of them are real sports cars, old, boxy Mercedes have a special place in my heart, probably because my dad had a W124 E class almost 15 years ago now.

For all those reasons and me being a petrol head, I had to stop for at least 20 minutes and enjoy their amazing body lines, those unique interiors, those stylish steering wheels, spoked wheels and the smell of their leather that I kind of smelt threw the window.

It was a nice warm welcome to really start the day as I was on our coast before 9 am, that is another good thing about Slovenia, it is tiny, diverse and I LOVE it!

Thank you for taking time to read, I wish you a good day or a good night and a good life.
