Last month, June, we got a double rainbow at our house in the Canadian Rockies! They are more rare, so it is really great to see one. We get more rain in June in our area.
The rainbow is God's promise to us that he will not destroy the earth by means of a flood again. It certainly does not symbolize man's pride or lust. Let this one promise of God remind us that He has made other promises as well to those who hold the true Catholic Faith--the pardon of our sins, the grace to live a pure life, to die a happy death, and to receive everlasting life, through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Is not God merciful, omnipotent and faithful to His promises?
