Spent a lovely rainy day at the "Boothbay Harbor Botanical Gardens" looking for trolls in the mist.

The clouds and fog made everything greener and more mysterious; and there were far less people than there would be otherwise.

The rain was intermittent, but it made my map crumple. This made it harder to find the trolls; but I did find a few.

Can you find the troll below?

The children's section is so adorable; with a fairy village, treehouse and learning center.

It was larger than I thought it would be; with so many nooks to explore.

To find the last trolls we had to go on a slightly longer walk through a mossy fairytale wood. It made me wish we had gotten there sooner and had more time to explore.

It did make the experience of finding the trolls akin to finding treasure. They were truly impressive. I believe there were one or two we did not find, but that was ok.

Afterwards we had a lovely dinner by the water in Boothbay Harbor. A perfect end to our magical wet adventure.
