Today's post is a bit atypical, why I say that, because the other day I attended an event and some decorative objects in the hall where this event was held caught my attention.
But, let me tell you more exactly, in Romania on January 7 of each year is celebrated St. John, a very important holiday so on this day are celebrated all those who bear the name of John or derivatives of this name.
How did I get here?
A few days before, I received an invitation to attend an event organised by a very important person in our community, which I couldn't refuse, so I accepted immediately.
As with any event where you are invited you need to be prepared both in terms of dress and gift giving.
And now I'll get to the title of this post, Monica Amadeus, that's the name of the guesthouse where the party was held on January 7th.
Where is the guesthouse located?
Guesthouse Monica Amadeus is located in Minis, Arad county, is an extraordinary pension, as proof we stand the ratings obtained on some profile sites.
The guesthouse has several rooms where you can stay with family and friends or even alone, all rooms are decorated in rustic style, this makes it different from the rest of the usual guesthouses, why I wrote that you can stay with family or friends because it has a terrace and a large garden, all reservations made here benefit from free breakfast and is located relatively close to Timisoara airport (about an hour and a half drive by car).
Do you know what is special about this guesthouse?
The guesthouse does not have a website where to advertise and lately it is no longer available on profile websites, do you know why?
In recent years the guesthouse has managed to train a certain type of customers, who once they come here, will never forget this location, there are many companies that come here with their employees where they hold training courses, the others are customers who rent this location for various events, so many events has this location that there is no room for new customers, this I say says a lot.
This house has a very interesting history, it has belonged to this family for several generations, a hundred years ago the house was called "kolna", meaning it was inhabited only in the summer season and somewhere near the house had a plot planted with vines, now that plot is cultivated with raw material used to prepare the dishes served in the restaurant, moreover this location was visited by Prince Radu of Romania.
Come on, I don't want to bore you but I felt I had to tell you a few words about Monica Amadeus, I know there is a community of photo lovers here, this is the reason for today's post.
This is one of the types of appetizers that contains bruschetta with salmon, smoked trout and shrimp.
Attending this event I was attracted by the rustic decor inside the restaurant, I am crazy about such objects with a significant age, this is the reason for today's post, I want to share with you the pictures taken of some very old decorative objects, but also some with the presentation of the appetizer and dessert, it's good to know that this guesthouse offers several types of menus, so everyone can choose what they want to serve their guests, it's amazing, you can even create your own anniversary menu.
This traditional costume is over a hundred years old.
I'm curious if any of you know what these two objects represent?
