These are a couple of houses left to rot in the countryside, right next to the Metro station in Modivas, a little town halfway between Vila do Conde and Porto.
The first house doesn't look very stylish but with a renovation this could become a very cool place to live... or even to set up a small hotel. It's located just 100 meters away from a Metro station, which means you can get to Vila do Conde or Porto without any trouble.
The other house is even closer to the station, it's just across the street from it.
This one has a sign for sale. It looks quite beaten up and in need of serious work but with some effort, it could become like a little palace.
The house is quite large... and there's a big lot of land right next to it, big enough for a small farm.
The location is not the best for those who enjoy a city lifestyle but for those seeking a property in the countryside, in a quiet area and with a plot of land to grow some fruit trees and vegetables, this is absolutely perfect.
I wonder why no one picks it up... it's been for sale for a few years now. If I had the means, I would get it for myself.
For now... the only inhabitants of this old mansion are a few stray kittens who are living in the backyard....
They look very cute, too. 🤗
These guys are very little but they are doing OK... even though no one takes care of them.
