Original photo, no filter. People walk by it every day and probably never even notice it, moss that it is. As I've been saying there haven't been many photo ops available due to the weather being bad. Most of the flowers and plants of colors of shed their leaves and hibernated for the winter. So when I find this bright lime green moss on the sidewalk it grabs my attention.
For moss to grow it has to be sheltered as to where the sun light cannot get to it. Moss thrives in damp wet conditions. Pretty cool to see the details when I zoomed in even more than what you see here, cameras can almost work as magnifying glasses with the right focus.
