This lovely flower blooms on an evergreen bush. It's an invasive plant that's spreading. As you can see, it's a pale yellow colour. It goes under several names. goldencup and Aaron's beard Saint-John's-wort and rose of Sharon are among them. It has ovate or oblong, sharp leaves that are 2 to 4 inches long and big 5-petaled, 5-separated yellow blooms with many, upright stamens that give it a powder-puff look.
