Bee working on a buttonbush. Good to see the bees busy in the yard. Our coneflowers and bee balms are popular along with the lavender.
Honeysuckle berries. Honeysuckle grows all over here on the edge of the woods. The cedar waxwings love the berries.
Vetch is a weed but does have pretty blooms I am pulling this from the flower beds and around the edge of the yard all the time but in the ditches I guess its ok 🙂
Chickory has lovely flowers and is filling the ditches right now. I love the color of the chickory flower.
Another shot of the buttonbush along the shore of the lake. Also an idea of how green it is this year. Very pretty summer so far... just a little too hot and humid.
