📷 Valley of Terraced Fields

If you're lucky, you can find completely unusual places and beautiful views where you don't expect it. It happened in this case. We had to drive past, following to another place, but we saw this landscape and could not help but stop. This extraordinary mountain is a wonderful natural monument (and the work of human hands in equal measure), it is called Montaña del El Palmar and is located in a valley full of terraced fields.

The valley is called El Valle del Palmar, and it is beautiful itself, these rectangles of fields of all shades of green and brown look so picturesque. The valley is located among the mountains Rural del Teno, Tenerife island, Spain. There was once a quarry here, and over-mining has caused the slopes to collapse, giving it such a bizarre look. In the distance you can see the cone of the Teide volcano, the highest point in Spain.

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.
