📷 Three Stages of One Sunset

It is interesting to watch how the colors change in the sky at sunset. The sun sets somewhere in the other direction, and here the sky takes on an intensive yellow-orange hue, and the clouds are highlighted with this color.

Then, slightly outlined pink reflections appear in the clouds, as if the landscape cannot finally decide on the color and chooses between the two. The photo looks a little lighter, but don't be embarrassed — as a rule, it doesn't get brighter at sunset over time, I just changed the exposure a little for this shot :) In any case, the beginning of the hue change is clearly visible here.

And after a while, when the clouds darkened more, we see that the landscape shifted to a pink-lilac hue, and the orange in the sky began to lean towards red, not yellow. This is practically the very end of sunset, soon the distant clouds will darken completely and cease to please the eye, only a strip of colored sky near the very horizon will hold out for some time.

Photos taken in the Lofoten Islands, Norway, on the coast of the Lödingen village. All these changes with the view of the mountains on the horizon took place in a little over half an hour. Basically, I like the view of the sunset at every stage, but the last photo is probably more. And you? :)

It's better to watch photos in high resolution.
