The Kleine Arbersee in the Bavarian Forest was a destination of my photo tour while on vacation. This wonderful little lake offers a new motif every few meters. This time I brought two motifs.

Der Kleine Arbersee im Bayerischen Wald war ein Ziel meiner Fototour im Urlaub. Dieser wunderbare kleine See bietet alle paar Meter ein neues Motiv. Diesmal habe ich zwei Motive mitgebracht.

1 View over the floating islands

After the lake was dammed, the layers of bog loosened and formed floating islands that are unique in Europe.

1 Blick über die schwimmenden Inseln

Nach dem Aufstauen des Sees lösten sich die Moorschichten und bildeten die in Europa einmaligen schwimmenden Inseln.

2 Detail of an island with tree

Due to the very long exposure using a 10 stop neutral density filter, the trees and grasses in the water are shown very sharply. The colors also become clearer and more intense.

2 Detail einer Insel mit Baum

Durch die sehr lange Belichtung mittels 10 Stop Graufilter werden die Bäume und Gräser im Wasser sehr scharf abgebildet. Die Farben werden ebenfalls klarer und intensiver.
