They're back training, for another season of airshows, thats already been decimated due to bloody covid-19.

With several big shows already cancelling for 2021, The RAF Red Arrow's aerobatic team's displays will be to far smaller crowds, or maybe even just flypasts like last season.

I don't live too far from RAF Scampton where they are currently based (until the end of next year) but again due to Covid lockdown, I've not had the opportunity to go and watch them practise.. I have however listened to them on the radio scanner - but its not even a close second!

WIth a roadmap to easing lockdown now in place, I'm hoping I can get over to watch them practise for a few sessions.. Being sat in a field, in the middle of nowhere, on my own surely cant be a bad thing?? It certainly helps my mental health for starters..

The 'Red's build up thier training and yesterday flew thier first 7 ship, gradually building to a full 9 ship, here's thier famous diamond 9 formation

However, we have light at the end of the tunnel, as from the 8th of March, we're allowed out for recreation, so, until then.. I'm grounded.
