Hello hivernauts

The word Photography means -Write with light-. In the early days of photography when the processes were simply a lens and chemical processing to get an image onto paper, all the work depended on the photographer's ability to "write with light" the scene or portrait he was trying to make.

From time to time I go back to these origins and take some photographs with "old" cameras to remind myself of what it means to write with light. To take a snapshot with only the natural light of the environment where I am without the use of technology or today's digital tools that allow us to create hyper-realistic images in a couple of clicks.

I took these pictures several years ago, it was a sunny afternoon in an old hotel overlooking downtown. I was captivated by the light coming through the window and bathing the model's face.

Today I want to share with you these photographs without editing or retouching, just as they came out of the camera. This is my way of expressing what it means to me to write with light.
