Battle wounds are the Trophies to our victories, they mark those tests of life overcome that forge our path throughout our lives.
My beautiful friend Meylin always speaks proudly of her scars and how today they are an indelible mark of one of her hard trials.
These are the marks of a terrible accident in which she suffered severe burns to her breasts a couple of years ago. Against all odds she recovered and today she feels like a new unstoppable woman.
And if at any moment she feels doubts again, she just looks at herself in the mirror for a moment and remembers that everything passes and she can always be better.
She is a true example of overcoming and her Battle Wounds are her trophy to remember it by.
Mey, in the name of those battles won today I dedicate this post to you as a tribute to your bravery and strength.
