Hi there!
Let me share with you several photos which I took on February 6, 2021. I hiked in the Rychlebské hory (Rychlebské Mountains), also known as Rychleby. These mountains share partly border with Poland. Weather conditions were as follows: temperature around 2°C, poor visibility, generous snow cover (here and there knee deep mantle of snow). I enjoyed it in spite of worse weather as something unexpectedly emerged... Read on to find out 😃
Cover photo of this post: Nýznerovský waterfall.
Sadly, this time I can forget about any panorama 😢
Rock formation called (translated from Czech) The Rock of Death. It is true that under these weather conditions, it is kind of very slippery, easy to fall down. I will explore it next time.
Even worse visibility.
These paperweights could be left at home I guess.
Entering a forest alley.
A small branch covered with frozen crystals caught my attention.
Out of the woods now.
In the meadow, which is popular amongst locals. Mouflons (originally thought these were chamois though still unsure). Unexpected!
Oh, they just noticed me. They are gone now.
Back in civilization, horses being fed. It is snowing.
They call this as the Giant wooden table and chair. It is close to Skorošice village.
Still sleepy, shy, and slowly moving hairy caterpillar.
Almost at finish. In the meantime, my water supply slowly turns into ice.
