I woke up really early today, early enough to clean around the house, charge up drone batteries, and grab some coffee before leaving. But stil early enough that the sun was still rising. Quite a big difference in the weather from yesterday as the sky had cleared up with a nice blue tone that allowed some really beautiful spring feeling light to cover the fields below. It seems all the nature around has been enjoying this contrast between rainy and dull and windy and clear, with the fields suddenly a very nice shade of green. It definitely felt like the introduction to spring as I walked through the countryside for miles. Today a lot longer than I usually do, just wanting to keep going and having no interest in how long it might take to have to return home. Despite the wind still remaining, it wasn't that cold. It was quite relaxing, even. I had with me a bottle of water, an apple, and of course the drone.

The nicer weather definitely led to me venturing a lot deeper into the countryside than usual, knowing I could walk for miles without fearing that it may suddenly rain or get dark. And as the sky was so clear it only encouraged me more. Though part of it is that soon I may be leaving this countryside area and moving somewhere I think I'd generally prefer not to be in; one full of more crime, pollution, and less nature. This has only made me realise how much I appreciate the countryside, and I definitely feel as if I have to make the most of it with whatever time I have left here, especially with the weather improving and a drone capable of reaching far into areas I can't, with new perspectives from above. While I have already been out with the drone, even as I type this I'm charging up the batteries and preparing to get back out again! I suspect there will be a really beautiful sunset to end the day.

Once I was done with the drone and starting my little adventure back home (and I never take the same route back, I always try to find a new way to loop around the areas I'm in) I decided to take a short walk through a wooded area I have been in before; I used to bring my dog here and she'd love the area, one time chasing deer through the woods with me having to chase her through it, other times she'd dive into the little stream that runs between the trees and produces a very peaceful sound as it does. The light was incredibly beautiful in the woods, with it spreading through the trees and casting different shadows and colours. I took my time walking through this area, enjoying the silence of the countryside and the sound of the wind coming through the trees; sitting at a downed tree for a few minutes to take a few sips of water. I took two pictures within the woods with my smartphone, though the camera kind of sucks on that. If the wind wasn't so intense I would've set the drone up again, but with all those little twigs and obstacles it felt a bit too risky to fly through today. Hopefully another time, before leaving!
