City palace udaipur - the gem of the lake city

Hello friends!
How are you all? Hope you all are doing good and enjoying well. I'm also good by God Grace :-)
As I mentioned in my second last post, last January we visited to udaipur to enjoy our weekend. Today I'm going to share my first day experience with you all. It was three days trip. First day early morning we went udaipur by road. In the noon we reached there .
After checking in our hotel we rest a while we set out for city palace .

After visit city palace in udaipur I can say that it is one of the most iconic landmarks of Rajasthan, because it is really a large palace, located on the banks of pichola ( beautiful lake) and built entirely from granite and marble , the palace is truly a work of art.

This is pichola lake. The city palace , located on the eastern side of pichola lake was built nearly 400 years ago by Maharana uday singh.

Here is entry view.
We started to enjoy this palace with the view of pichola and tripolia gate from badi pal.

Tripolia gate from badi pal. After that we entered in museum and saw lots of amazing things. Here some of them I'm going to share:

Each palace inside the city palace has a unique pattern and designs like glasswork, mirror tiles , marble amd more. Here are some pictures of glasswork and mirror tiles , these 3 palace named shish mahal, moti mahal and madak mahal , let's see:

Here are some views from palace's balcony, every balconies and tower within the palace are carefully constructed to admire the stunning view of lake and the city which surrounds it . Here you can also enjoy both views 🤩

I hope you enjoy these pics. There is plenty more that you would enjoy seeing but covering all is bit difficult. City palace is so big and beautiful, it can easily take yoy half a day and yet, you might realize that you need more time!

A palace that gives you the feel of a royal.

🙏 Thanks for stopping by 🙏
