Hacia adelante o hacia atrás, ¿cómo reconocer cuál el camino si los dos lucen bien? Solo un giro basta para intercambiar la ruta y que así, nada más, aquello de retroceder sea avanzar o viceversa.
Estoy parado y sé de donde vengo. Estoy justo en el medio del trayecto y cualquiera de las opciones significan escalar una montaña. Ambos parajes lucen hermosos, tienen sus complicaciones, sus descansos y peligros.

Forwards or backwards, how to recognize which way if both look good? Just a turn is enough to exchange the route and that way, nothing more, that of going backwards is to go forwards or vice versa.
I'm standing and I know where I'm coming from. I'm right in the middle of the road and either option means climbing a mountain. Both places look beautiful, have their complications, their rests and dangers.
El azul es el mismo en el cielo, el verde también. Lo único notable y variable, si lo observas, es la ruta dentro de los senderos. Está marcada para que no te desorientes si eliges esa vereda para seguir. Claro que también podrías abrirte camino y crear tu propio laberinto.
Acá pueden ver mi vista en tan solo 180 grados de camino. Así luce. Tentadora en ambos rumbos. Imponente en cada destino. Es normal querer intentar una por una las vías. Pero se supone que con una avanzas y con la otra retrocedes.
Me pongo a reflexionar en esta filosofía. A veces sabemos hacia dónde vamos y de dónde venimos. Dicen que es malo retroceder, pero si miras atrás y ves una imagen mejor que la que conduces hacia adelante, ¿te devolverías?

I reflect on this philosophy. Sometimes we know where we are going and where we come from. People say it's bad to go backwards, but if you look back and see a better picture than the one you're driving forward, would you turn back?
Pongámoslo de esta manera. Supongamos que de repente despiertas parado acá y tienes estas dos vistas frente a ti. ¿Qué harías? ¿Cómo elegirías?
Pero en aquella ocasión lo tenía claro. La cima estaba del lado del norte. Esta vez coincidía con el ángulo cardinal que es sinónimo de accenso, pero era solo casualidad.
Al final del camino lo vi. Él estaba parado por donde terminaba el camino. Ni mis pies ni su moto podrían avanzar y ahí lo entendí.
Habrá ocasiones en que intentemos todo y forzosamente tengamos que regresarnos. No siempre es obvio que hay que hacerlo, pero en la vía puedes conseguir a otros en tu mismo intento y darte cuenta así que no ha sido en vano, porque pese a dolor, tormentos y suspiros, hay que disfrutar el viaje.

La cosa es que no todos tenemos la misma fuerza o el mismo transporte. Quizás, en lo único que nos parecemos es en tener un similar cerebro, cargado con los dogmas que nos diferencian.
Con los años he aprendido que incluso retrocediendo se logra avanzar, eso ocurre si eres capaz de entender que solamente tú sabes si te diriges hacia adelante y solo tú reconocerás si te estás desviando de lo que buscas.
The thing is that not all of us have the same strength or the same transport. Perhaps, the only thing we are alike is to have a similar brain, loaded with the dogmas that differentiate us.
Over the years I learned that even by going backwards you can move forward, this happens if you are able to understand that only you know if you are deviating from what you are looking for.
