Introduction

The long-awaited moment for our Alien Art and Music community has finally arrived! It's about time we joined the #AlienArtHive [Hive: Author of the Week initiative](https://peakd.com/ocd/@weeklytops/hive-author-of-the-week), a weekly award that highlights the most talented authors in each community, promoted by @leofinance. I've noticed that many of our artists and musicians are deserving of greater **recognition** for their work, and this initiative comes precisely to highlight those who are **standing out and contributing to the growth** and strengthening of our community. I believe that this award can encourage us even more to create and produce relevant and meaningful content that can have a positive impact on the lives of many people. In addition, Author of the Week is a unique opportunity for us to interact and get to know other talented authors in our community. ###

For the winner

Thanks to the support of those involved in this initiative (@blocktrades , @theycallmedan , @leofinance and @ocd) the beneficiaries of the weekly posts will be divided between several destinations, which are: - 60% Destined for the **winning author**. (starting next week since we have no winner yet!) - 20% to @weeklytops - 20% to the author of the post via the @alienarthive account Thanks to the support of the [Nexo Digital](https://peakd.com/c/hive-167506) community, we were able to distribute an **incredible amount of 50 $NEXO tokens to the winner of the week**. Thanks to @lipe100dedos **What is Nexo Digital?** The main objective of the Nexo Digital project is to promote and increase the visibility of Dance, Art and Culture content in general within Hive and to facilitate the Onboarding of new Hivers through Dance, Art and Culture by showing how Hive can be a friendly environment for users to share their content. ###

How to be eligible for Author of the Week

I would like to point out that all users of our community will be invited to take part in a survey every Friday. This survey will be presented via #threads through the [InLeo](https://inleo.io/threads) platform and will include the four best posts published in the **last seven days** **(between Friday and next Thursday at 23:59 UTC)** in the [Alien Art Hive](https://peakd.com/c/hive-158694/trail) community. It's a way of valuing and recognizing the work of our users, as well as encouraging the production of even better content. I hope to see all of you participating and contributing to the success of our initiative! - Voting ends on Sunday at 23:59 UTC. ###
