Just wasted almost a couple of hours of my life watching a John Wick movie on TV. A very mediocre script, uninteresting characters and action not very believable. I sat through it because it was fuel for an interesting discussion between myself and my daughter.
Speaking of violence as entertainment, maybe the problem with real life violence is that it is not very entertaining. Observing its results fill most people with a mixture of shock, revulsion, and empathy regardless of how deserving they view the recipient of it.
