I knew that there was a Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Leipzig, but we didn't get to visit it until we were leaving, and it was a great coincidence. It was already getting dark, and as soon as we arrived, the whole monument illuminated gradually. In the end, it was probably the best moment we could have seen the monument. The illuminated giant with the reflection in the water made a beautiful composition. There were a lot of people sitting around the monument, just chatting and relaxing in spots overlooking the city. We also sat for a while and recapped our trip to Leipzig.
