Un cordial saludo y un fuerte abrazo queridos amigos y amigas de Hive, #YoSoyMag - @magdiel7 y, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con todos ustedes unas fotografías de una hermosa planta llamada “Allamanda Cathartica”. Esta planta la encontré o mejor dicho, la vi jejeje, en la ciudad de los Teques, una ciudad muy bonita y fría, ubicada al centro-norte del país. Adicional a las fotografías, les dejare una pequeña reseña con respecto a esta planta y sus flores, para que así también puedan conocer un poco de ella.

I found this plant, or rather, I saw it hehehe, in the city of Los Teques, a very beautiful and cold city, located in the centre-north of the country. In addition to the pictures, I will leave you a little review about this plant and its flowers, so that you can also know a little about it.

Esta es una historia muy breve, la verdad no hay mucho que contar al respecto. Di con esta planta en un viaje a los Teques con mi prometida y sus familiares, una de sus primas estaba de cumpleaños y nos invitó a celebrar con ella en su casa, y como se habrán dado cuenta, vive en los Teques XD, cuando llegamos logre observar que el lugar era bastante grande y bonito, con mucha vegetación y un clima espectacular, así que recorrí el lugar para conocer sus alrededores, realmente un lugar espectacular, lo cierto es que, mientras realizaba este recorrido, di con muchas plantas con flores hermosas y entre esas, estaba esta hermosa planta.
This is a very short story, there really isn't much to tell about it. I found this plant on a trip to Los Teques with my fiancée and her relatives, one of her cousins had a birthday and invited us to celebrate with her at her house, and as you may have noticed, she lives in Los Teques
XD, when we arrived I managed to observe that the place was quite large and beautiful, with lots of vegetation and a spectacular climate, so I toured the place to know its surroundings, really a spectacular place, the truth is that, while doing this tour, I found many beautiful flowering plants and among those, there was this beautiful plant.
Hablemos de la “Allamanda Cathartica”
Let's talk about the "Allamanda Cathartica"
Sabemos que las plantas nunca las reconocemos por sus nombres científico, ya que son difíciles de memorizar y hasta de pronunciar, (parecen trabalenguas, JAJAJA), por lo tanto la solemos reconocer con nombres coloquiales, y esta planta también tiene sus diferentes nombres, como por ejemplo: Flor de mantequilla, Jazmín de cuba o Trompeta Amarilla, estos son algunos de los nombres con los que se le puede conocer. Estas plantas son nativas de Brasil y tienen sus respectivos usos ornamentales, pero también usos medicinales, Como esta planta contiene Latex, en Colombia lo usan como vomitivo y vermífugo, ahora, en Cuba utilizan la infusión de las hojas como emético y purgante.
We know that we never recognise plants by their scientific names, as they are difficult to memorise and even to pronounce,
(they sound like tongue twisters, HAHAHAHAHA), therefore we usually recognise it by colloquial names, and this plant also has its different names, such as: *Butter Flower, Cuban Jasmine or Yellow Trumpet, these are some of the names by which it can be known. These plants are native to Brazil and have their respective ornamental uses, but also medicinal uses, As this plant contains Latex, in Colombia they use it as an emetic and vermifuge, now, in Cuba they use the infusion of the leaves as an emetic and purgative.

Como conclusión, pudimos haber notado que esta planta contiene usos medicinales muy buenos, además de que estéticamente, es una planta muy bonita, pero hay que tener cuidado con ella, porque también suele ocasionar irritación en la piel, podemos decir que por esto, es un arma de doble filo, pero al mismo tiempo obviando esto, es una hermosa planta que podremos cultivar en nuestros jardines para darle un toque colorido y alegre, sin más que decir, los dejo con algunas fotografías para que disfruten de esta hermosa planta.
As a conclusion, we could have noticed that this plant contains very good medicinal uses, besides that aesthetically, it is a very beautiful plant, but we must be careful with it, because it also tends to cause skin irritation, we can say that because of this, it is a double-edged sword, but at the same time obviating this, it is a beautiful plant that we can grow in our gardens to give it a colourful and cheerful touch, without more to say, I leave you with some photographs for you to enjoy this beautiful plant.
