The main festival of Hindu people in Nepal i.e. Dashain is starting from today. The festival holds great significance for the people of Nepal. It is also celebrated in India but not enthusiastically as it is celebrated here. Malls make a great profit during this festival. They earn income that can sustain them for a year. I was in a driving vehicle so I can't click a good still picture🤣. The building is one of the mall in Kathmandu trying to attract the customers with their light decoration. Today is the first day and this festival is celebrated for 10 days. Streets and shops are decorated with light during night time.
Small scale business also trying to attract customers with beautiful light decoration. They also make pretty decent amount of profit during this time. In few days, this street will look very empty as people will leave the valley for the festival.
