Early-July dark pinup à la carte!

Hey, Hive! It’s late. Almost 1:00a.m. I want to try and get this post on the blockchain because I’ve had a productive day and I’m genuinely trying to keep the momentum going. I spent the weekend doing training and testing for a Generative AI certification from Microsoft. It’s the first of its kind from a credited company in the AI industry. I’m going to pursue some prompt engineer options, so I invested the last couple days in to the course. Tonight I took the exam and passed with my first attempt. Considering a lot of things in my life have sucked lately, this was a small victory that I’m proud of. Not sure where it goes from here, but it’s still a goal I set for myself, and achieved.

Tonight, I’m going to share some new photography in another one of my à la carte posts. I do these once or twice a month, just sharing one image from recent shoots. This first shot is from a shoot last summer. The model’s name is Velvetine Suicide. She’s a Suicide Girl and I first shot with her over a decade ago. I’ve watched her reach Instagram fame as her modeling career took off so this was a great opportunity for us to collaborate while she was visiting Minneapolis from Portland. This particular afternoon it was over 100° out. I remember being miserable, as was she, but we pulled it together and got this beautiful shot near a flower garden.

This next photos is a dark pinup portrait of my long time friend, @kellifury. She was one of my first friends once I moved to Minneapolis and we’ve been through it all together. She’s a big part of why I’ve had custody of @guthrie all these years and I’m always grateful for her in my life. We used to shoot together regularly. She’s a crazy talented tattoo artist and I talked to her about getting my whip scorpion tattooed on my neck. She suggested a trade; a shoot for the tattoo, and as a crypto holder during a bear market, that sounded even better. This is just one of the first shots from our session at my house from last month.

Lastly, this is the first edit I’ve finished with New Orleans based burlesque performer, Delilah Dubouis. I met her during Viva Las Vegas in April when my friend Minxie asked me if I’d have time to come to their hotel for a quick shoot collaboration. She was ready when I arrived and in less than an hour she and Minxie turned it on for some of the best photos I took then entire Rockabilly Weekend. Delilah is an outstanding model and commanded the room with her pose awareness and presence. I can’t wait to get to the rest of this shoot but for now, please enjoy this first glimpse from the collaboration. Thanks for reading!
